Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Cliqpay website and application, operated by Cliqpay Services Private Limited. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Cliqpay for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
Cliqpay helps businesses in India create GST invoices, record purchases and payments, and generate e-invoices and E-Way Bills through a licensed GST API provider.
2. What Cliqpay is not
Cliqpay calculates GST from the rates you configure and connects to the GST system through a licensed API provider. It records and summarises your own transactions — it does not file GST returns, and it is not a government-certified service. Have your figures checked by your accountant before filing.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You decide who joins your business and what role they have. Actions taken by people you add are your responsibility.
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
4. Your responsibilities
- The accuracy of what you enter — GSTINs, HSN/SAC codes, tax rates, prices, addresses and transport details — is yours. Documents generated from it are only as correct as the data behind them.
- You are responsible for your GST compliance, including filing returns and keeping records for the period the law requires.
- Only generate e-invoices and E-Way Bills for genuine transactions. Documents registered with the government systems may not be reversible once their cancellation window has passed.
5. GST systems and third parties
E-invoices, E-Way Bills and GSTIN lookups depend on our GST API provider and on the government GST systems. We are not responsible for their downtime, delays, rejections or changes to their rules, though we will show you what they report.
6. Plans and fees
Paid plans, their prices and invoice limits are shown on our website. Plan charges and billing are agreed with you directly. Unused monthly invoice allowances do not carry over. We may change prices with notice before your next billing period. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use Cliqpay for fake, fraudulent or unlawful invoicing or to evade tax.
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data.
- Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Your data
The business records you create remain yours. You allow us to store and process them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Cliqpay available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features; features marked “coming soon” are not yet part of the service.
10. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for tax, interest or penalties arising from the data you enter, or for failures of third-party GST systems. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Cliqpay at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Records may be retained afterwards where the law requires.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
